TRENDS
Research and Advisory is participating as the sponsor of the 12th edition of
the International Government Communication Forum 2023, organized by the Sharjah
Government Media Bureau on September 13 and 14, at Expo Centre in Sharjah.
The
12th edition of the forum, which is held this year under the theme:
"Today's resources, tomorrow’s wealth,” reviews the experiences and expertise
of a group of opinion and thought leaders in the government communication
sector at the local, regional and international levels. The discussion shall
highlight the significance of managing the resources and wealth owned by
countries and communities and turn them into factors of success and sustainable
development.
Human Resource Management
TRENDS
Research and Advisory shall enrich the activities of the 12th edition of the
International Government Communication Forum 2023 with a range of specialized
and qualitative research and focused events. These include a session reviewing
the results of an economic study entitled: "Human Resources Management in
a Crisis-ridden World: A Report on How to Preserve and Develop Wealth in Light
of Global Economic Challenges" This study was prepared by the Department
of Economic Studies at TRENDS Research and Advisory. The session will be moderated
by Moza AlMarzouqi, Head of the Economic Studies Department, on Wednesday,
September 13.
Investing in Youth
A
group of young researchers will also participate in the activities of the
"Our Youth is Our Wealth" platform, which is part of the second day events
of the "International Government Communication Forum 2023". They will
deliver a panel discussion entitled: "Wealth Management in a Turbulent
World: Harnessing Human Capital and Investing in Youth". This event shall
be held on Thursday, September 14. The discussion shall be moderated by
Abdullah Al Hammadi, Director of Conferences and Strategic Communications. The
audience shall be addressed by: Mohammed
Al-Dhahuri, Head of the Strategic Studies Department, the member of the TRENDS
Youth Council. The speakers shall include Warda Al Menhali, Director of the
Corporate Communication Department and members of the TRENDS Youth Council.
Intellectual series
Dr.
Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, said that
TRENDS' sponsorship of the 12th edition of the International Government
Communication Forum 2023 is in line
with TRENDS’ keenness to support the Forum's work, outputs and global recommendations.
He added that TRENDS is also interested in contributing to building a new
intellectual system based on sound and purposeful scientific research, capable
of exploring contemporary issues and crises. Here, scientific research can
analyze the issues of the government communication sector, foresee its future and
provide effective and applicable recommendations.
Dr. Al
Ali added that cooperation with the Sharjah Government Media Bureau in the activities
of the forum is in line with the TRENDS' constructive research role. This due to TRENDS global outlook strategy and
focused research vision. TRENDS issues regular publications, research, studies,
articles and analyses that keep abreast with contemporary issues.
Reliable Platform
The
CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory indicated that the International Government
Communication Forum 2023 is the largest gathering in the Middle East to discuss
the best international practices in the government communication sector. It
continues to develop a reliable platform for dialogue and discussion of the
best international practices in the government communication field. Dr. Al-Ali indicated
that TRENDS will play a pivotal role in this year's session, through which it
will support the forum's ideas and discussions on how to invest natural, human,
scientific and cultural resources, and turn them into wealth that supports
development at the economic and social levels. TRENDS will also explore new
resources that may emerge in the future as a result of science and technology
advancement.
Foreseeing the future
Fahad
Al-Mahri, Head of the Dubai Office Sector at TRENDS Research and
Advisory, said that TRENDS’ sponsorship of the 12th edition of the
International Government Communication Forum 2023 reflects its keenness to
support investment in human and natural resources. He explained that TRENDS Center
encourages stakeholders to intensify investment in intangible wealth and promote
investment in technology, compile data and foresee modalities to generate wealth
in the future.
Al-Mahri
stated that TRENDS will participate in the forum with a series of discussions
and sessions that extend over the course of September 13 and 14. The first day shall include a presentation of
a study prepared by the Department of Economic Studies at TRENDS Research and
Advisory entitled: "Human Resource Management in a Crisis-ridden World: A
Report on How to Preserve and Develop Wealth in Light of emerging Global
Economic Challenges". He added that the study focuses on the state of the
UAE economy by learning from international experiences, and seeks to answer a
pivotal question, which is: How can
human resources be managed, preserved and developed in light of emerging global
economic challenges?
Troubled World
The
Head of the Dubai Office Sector at TRENDS explained that the second day of
the forum will witness a dialogue session entitled: "Wealth Management in
a Turbulent World: Harnessing Human Capital and Investing in Youth". This
session shall explore the impact of current global economic and social
challenges on wealth management in times of global uncertainty. He indicated that
investing in human capital, developing the skills and knowledge of young people
is an effective tool to address future challenges. It promotes innovation and make
optimal benefits of emerging opportunities.
