TRENDS Research & Advisory Marks its Ninth Anniversary Enhances Global Research Outreach

TRENDS Research and Advisory celebrated its ninth anniversary as it positioned itself at the forefront of global research centers. TRENDS stressed its determination to deliver more achievements, harnessing the efforts of its diligent team and the contiguous support of its partners.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, said that the success achieved by TRENDS over these years and its plans for the future, would not have been achieved without the relentless efforts of its team work and the great support of its partners who represent research, media, government and private institutions.


He said that during these few years, TRENDS consolidated its position among the main research centers at the regional and international levels. The Center has produced qualitative studies in all fields and kept abreast with various regional and international developments. TRENDS has delivered sound analyses on the repercussions of these developments and their future consequences.

He added that TRENDS Research and Advisory celebrates the ninth anniversary of its foundation and the fourth anniversary of its renewal and empowerment drive. It is a celebration of delivering quality knowledge through credible scientific research.

Dr. Al-Ali stated that TRENDS Research and Advisory said “four years ago, TRENDS embarked on a process of renewal, empowerment and development, through restructuring, signing of more cooperation partnerships and focused activities. TRENDS started the transformation of its work and orientations from the stage of "foreseeing the future" to participating in making it through in-depth and accurate research and knowledge output that kept abreast with emerging developments. TRENDS Research and Advisory analyzes issues and provides applicable solutions. He indicated that TRENDS remained focused on the process of renewal, youth empowerment, raising the slogan "Investing in youth is an investment in the future."


Dr. Al-Ali stressed that TRENDS is proud today that most of its employees are young men and women. They have achieved efficiency and proved their merit in all fields of work, whether research, training or administration.

He explained that a brief review of the center's harvest over the past years, would clearly notice the level of development achieved by TRENDS, and at the same time the increasing confidence it enjoys among researchers, partners and intellectual institutions from different parts of the world. TRENDS has become a prestigious research platform and a global knowledge bridge, which is much  appreciated and admired.

He stated that TRENDS has published hundreds of studies and research papers during the past years. It has delivered about 200 publications, some of which were published in multiple languages. The Center has signed research partnerships with more than 200 research, academic and media institutions, covering various regions of the world. TRENDS has convened hundreds of research events, including conferences, seminars, workshops and lectures. The Center organized the "TRENDS Dialogue" series, where dozens of issues were discussed and launched a platform for constructive meaningful dialogue on various issues.

Dr. Al-Ali indicated that the Global Barometer Department carried out dozens of opinion polls during the abovementioned period and gained recognition as a reliable research and advisory institution. The Center has delivered dozens of advisory studies and is currently engaged in implementing them for the benefit of the concerned partners.

The CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory spoke about the training role of the center. He indicated that several institutions, entities, ministries and universities sent their employees to train at the Center, or organized joint training courses with TRENDS to train their employees.  The center also organized an academic program for scientific research focused on youth, in cooperation and partnership with Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities. He indicated that TRENDS Center has launched an initiative to support national trainers. The first training course was held under the supervision of an experienced Emirati consultant. Dr. Al-Ali stressed that TRENDS will soon launch many training programs in other relevant fields.


Dr. Mohammed Al-Ali thanked the team at TRENDS Research and Advisory, which is working in complete harmony to achieve the declared goals. He praised the energetic young researchers at the center, who contributed to the Center’s hard-won prestigious position. Dr. Al-Ali valued the vital role of senior experts and consultants in enhancing the role of young researchers.

The ceremony was moderated by Ms. Warda Al Menhali, Director of Corporate Communications Department who stressed the TRENDS management's determination to work for a positive work environment and achieve happiness for the staff and employees. She appreciated the role of the CEO in leading the TRENDS Center’s efforts with great enthusiasm.


TRENDS Research and Advisory honored a number of its employees in the categories of employee of the year, the inspiring leader and Golden Visa recipients. They were recognized for their efforts and dedication to the Center’s work. Shouq Al Marzouqi, Senior Corporate Communication Specialist, presented paragraphs that brought happiness to the work team, emphasizing a positive and productive work environment.
