TRENDS Research and Advisory attends Riyadh International Book Fair with a variety of research publications

TRENDS Research and Advisory is participating with a special stand in the activities of the next edition of the Riyadh International Book Fair 2023, which begins on September 28, and will continue until October 7, at the campus of King Saud University in Diriyah, Riyadh. This is the third participation in the Riyadh Book Fair which is part of TRENDS’ global outreach activities in engaging with publishing houses, cultural bodies and institutions in more than 32 countries under the slogan "An Inspiring Destination".

TRENDS shall display a distinguished collection of scientific publications, which include books and series, covering many political, economic, security and political Islam movements.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, stated that the Center's participation in Riyadh Book Fair falls in line with the Center’s keenness to actively participate in Arab and international cultural forums. It reflects the Center’s global vision, the importance of this type of cultural events in spreading knowledge, promoting dialogue and rapprochement between peoples. The Riyadh Book Fair is an Arab and international platform that annually witnesses various activities, representing dozens of sectors. The important event attracts intellectuals, researchers and academics. It is also a cultural event and an important knowledge window in the book and publishing industry.

He said that the list of publications that will be included in the TRENDS booth at is diverse and covers a range of issues that capture the attention of the Arab and international community. They include publications on political Islam, sustainable development, tolerance and coexistence, artificial intelligence, and others.

Dr. Al-Ali indicated that TRENDS' various publications have become a reliable reference for researchers, scholars and academics in the region and beyond.  TRENDS research output follows solid rules and methodology of research, which are internationally recognized. The Center provides content that is in-depth, foresees the future, and contributes to its making.

Dr. Al-Ali added that TRENDS participation in the Riyadh International Book Fair for the third year coincides with other TRENDS participations and events. The Center shall participate in the Nairobi International Book Fair, followed by the Frankfurt International Book Fair. This is a reflection of TRENDS' global vision as a global knowledge bridge between. It shows TRENDS belief in the importance of culture and knowledge as means of spreading the good values of tolerance and peace.

Rawda AlMarzouqi, Director of Exhibitions and Distribution Department at TRENDS Research and Advisory, said that the Center’s participation in international exhibitions constitutes an effective presence of the Center in Arab and international cultural forums. She indicated that the Center is keen on these participations to introduce its research output and global vision and to meet publishers, writers and researchers. TRENDS is keen on building bridges of knowledge and communication. She added that book fairs are important knowledge platforms, as they represent an opportunity to establish partnerships and inform the public about TRENDS' research output. Such participations reflect the vision and strategy aimed at disseminating knowledge through the Center's various publications, which keep pace with contemporary developments in regional and international issues.
