TRENDS and Asiatic Research Institute and Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies, Korea University, sign research and scientific cooperation agreement

TRENDS Research and Advisory and the Asiatic Research Institute and Center for Middle East & Islamic Studies, Korea University, signed a research cooperation agreement to strengthen cooperation in the fields of scientific research, studies and opinion polls. The agreement shall optimize the output of partnership between the two parties which shall exchange research publications and organize joint seminars and lectures.

The MoU was signed in Seoul, Korea, by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS and Dr. Lee Jin Han, Director of Asiatic Research Institute.


 


The agreement supports the field of scientific research with joint research production. In addition, the two sides shall hold various events and activities, such as international conferences, joint workshops, seminars and lectures. The Two parties shall exchange experiences, information and consultations and support training programs.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Ali said that the agreement falls in line with TRENDS' strategy of building a wide network of relations and expanding regional and global partnerships, with many academic and research institutions, think tanks and research centers. TRENDS Center is keen on opening new horizons for cooperation and establishing effective partnerships, which enhance research, scientific and knowledge output.




Dr. Mohammed Al-Ali praised the partnership with Asiatic Research Institute and Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies, Korea University, and said the agreement would lead to a strong and reliable scientific research output.

The CEO of TRENDS stressed that the Center’s research and academic partnerships represent a bridge for knowledge and academic communication with the most reputable research centers at the regional and international levels. Partnerships help in foreseeing the future of crises and international issues and develop perceptions and proposals that chart the best possible tracks to address such issues in a constructive way. Dr. Al-Ali said that engagements with peer institutions enhance the ability to keep abreast with global emerging developments through analysis, discussion and sound solutions.





Dr. Lee Jin Han welcomed the cooperation between Asiatic Research Institute and Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies, Korea University, and TRENDS Research and Advisory. He appreciated the vital role that TRENDS Center plays as a leading and distinguished research institution at the regional and global levels. He praised the progress and good reputation of TRENDS Research and Advisory at the global level. Dr. Lee stressed the importance of cooperation between research institutions in launching joint initiatives, and encouraging the exchange of experiences and expertise to develop scientific research, disseminate knowledge and enhance research capabilities in areas of common interest.

The institute has a proven track record of producing innovative and impactful research and is home to a number of world-renowned scientists. The Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies is part of Asiatic Research Institute, and specializes in Arab and Islamic studies as well as translation. Dr.Musa Kim Jong Do who is working as a Director of the  Center. And  he is introducing the unexpoered fields about Arabians Islam.
