TRENDS Research and Advisory enhances its global outreach.. With Participation in Frankfurt International Book Fair

TRENDS Research and Advisory is participating for the third year in the activities of the 75th edition of the Frankfurt International Book Fair 2023, the largest and oldest book fair in the world. The reputable European Book Fair shall be held from October 18-22, 2023.

TRENDS' special pavilion (A36) in the fourth hall will provide visitors with research publications covering scientific, political, economic, and knowledge, such as artificial intelligence, climate, and sustainability, in addition to its encyclopedia and publications on political Islam movements.

TRENDS delegation at the fair shall organize a number of discussion activities and events. These activities include a seminar on Thursday, October 19, in cooperation with the Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities, which is participating in the Frankfurt Book Fair. The seminar is entitled "Youth and the promotion of the culture of tolerance and coexistence in society: Role and mechanisms".

TRENDS will also organize a panel discussion entitled "The Role of Media in Supporting Sustainability" at its pavilion on Saturday, October 21.

Global presence

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, said that TRENDS' participation in the Frankfurt International Book Fair falls within the Center’s keenness to pursue qualitative and effective presence in regional and global cultural forums. It reflects TRENDS' strategy which enhances the dissemination of scientific and research knowledge in all international forums, especially book fairs. This is because its great significance in bringing peoples together, as it attracts diverse segments of thinkers, researchers, academics, and international publishing houses.

He added that the Frankfurt International Book Festival is an international platform on the map of the global cultural knowledge space. TRENDS wants to enhance communication with the global audience of book readers, leaders of the publishing and distribution industry and content makers from all over the world. Dr. Al-Ali indicated that the Book Fair is also a valuable opportunity to inform TRENDS Stand’s visitors about the Center’s research products, communicate with the public directly and exchange experiences on the latest developments and technologies of the global publishing industry.

Dr. Al-Ali explained that the Frankfurt Book Fair is one of the most important book fairs in the world, and it is an international meeting place for a wide range of writers, authors and readers.

Platform & Opportunity

Rawdha AlMarzouqi, Director of Exhibitions and Distribution Department, expressed her pleasure at TRENDS' participation in the Frankfurt Book Fair for the third time. She said that this Book Fair is the largest and most historical book Fair gathering in the world. It constitutes a platform and an opportunity to meet publishers and writers as well as researchers, and discuss partnerships and cooperation, which enhances TRENDS' global outreach and confirms its pioneering research position.

Ms. Alyazia Al Hosani, Director of the Media Communication Office at TRENDS Research and Advisory explained that the Center's participation in Frankfurt International Book Fair and the accompanying activities will receive direct media coverage on TRENDS' social media accounts, as well as through news items and creative video coverage delivered by a specialized team. She indicated that all preparations which harness to the latest media technologies, have been completed to cover this effective participation in an important global cultural and knowledge event.

More than 4,000 exhibitors from more than 80 countries will participate in the new edition of the Frankfurt International Book Fair, which will be covered by hundreds of journalists. The Frankfurt Book Fair will witness hundreds of events, talks and discussions with the world's leading publishers and writers.
