Trends Center for Research and Advisory
signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Institute for Economics and Peace
(IEP) of Australia. The agreement determines ways of cooperation and they shall
exchange experts and accumulated experience in the fields of research, science,
training and development. The two sides shall hold joint international
conferences, forums and seminars.
The memorandum comes as part Trends'
global outreach and strategic plan It reflects TRENDS’ openness to
international academic and research institutions. The Center is keen to build focused
research and scientific relations and partnerships with major think tanks and
research centres.
The MOU was signed by Dr. Mohammed
Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends Research and Advisory and Brett Savill, Chief
Operating Officer of the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP).
The memorandum shall strengthen
partnership and coordination between the two sides in areas of common interest,
especially in the field of scientific and academic studies and research and
exchange of experts and researchers.
Dr. Mohammed Al Ali said that
consolidating relations with international research, scientific and consulting
institutions and centers is an essential pillar of Trends research strategy.
Dr. Al-Ali indicated that global research centers have a reputable history in
the area of meaningful scientific research.
Dr. Al Ali added that: “this agreement
will contribute to strengthening cooperation between Trends and the Institute for
Economics and Peace in Australia, in scientific research, exchange of experiences
and research output and delivers high-quality research output that meet the
needs of the research and academic communities.”
Brett Saville praised the fruitful
and constructive partnership with TRENDS Research and Advisory and expressed his
hope that the provisions and objectives of the memorandum will surely be
achieved.
Mr. Saville explained that
cooperation with “Trends” shall support scientific and research partnerships.
The agreement shall strengthen networks of relations with international
partners and help the two sides exchange views and insights on relevant issues
and developments for both sides. The two sides shall analyze the dimensions of
such issues and envisage their future implications.
