Dr. Mohammed
Salman Al Hammadi, Assistant Under-Secretary for
the Biodiversity and Marine Life Sector at the Ministry of
Climate Change and Environment, said that the book about "Technical Report
Writing” develops the skills of
employees in preparing technical reports. The book assists the employees by
identifying obstacles to communication between the writer and the reader, the
types of technical reports and aspects that distinguish such technical reports from
administrative reports, in terms of designing the appropriate report and the
relevant content.
Al-Hammadi
indicated that the chapters of the book focus on acquiring the skill of writing
technical reports. The Book helps trainees in developing the method of drafting
technical content, using relevant technical data and information, highlighting
the standards of distinguished technical reports and using appropriate means of
clarification. He indicated that part of the work was devoted to the importance
of content and the use of correct idiomatic Arabic and appropriate wording in
writing technical reports.
Dr. Hamad Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Union News Center at
Abu Dhabi Media Network, pointed out that his book “The Third Page is Not Ink
on Paper", includes a collection of articles "The Editor's opinion” that he writes for Al Ittihad
newspaper. He explained that it is not just a subjective or personal experience,
nor ink on paper, but it was a genuine talk to the JUAE nation, its leadership
and its people.
Al-Kaabi added: «On the
multiplicity of its titles, (this word) did not retreat to the interior with
all its development momentum, but went to address the issues of the region and
the world. It seeks to explain the Emirati point of view and its noble humanitarian
message. So I collected these articles in a book that summarizes all the series,
and compile them to present the profile of the Emirati person, who was able to face
challenges of the times and turn them into real gains”.
Mohammed Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors
of the UAE Journalists Association and Assistant President of the General Union
of Arab Journalists, signed the book: "The Emirati Fort... How the UAE
overthrew the Muslim Brotherhood."
He indicated that the book addresses one of the most serious challenges facing
the UAE, namely the secret organization of the Muslim Brotherhood group, which
targeted the UAE's existence as a state and a way of life, through the group's
loyalty to a foreign international entity.
Al-Hammadi
stressed that this book is a historical document about the 2013 trials, and by
reading the testimony of witnesses during the March 2013 session, the author
addresses irrefutable tangible evidence about this organization, and explains
how the Muslim Brotherhood made a strategic mistake, as they chose the wrong
place to move.
As
part of a series of economic trends, TRENDS launched the fifth issue entitled:
"Critical Success Factors for SMEs in the UAE", prepared by Fatima Al
Zarooni, a non-resident researcher at TRENDS. The book addresses an important
and influential issue with many dimensions and connotations, namely the issue
of small and medium enterprises.
Al
Zarooni explained that the book delves into the nature of small enterprises and
clarifies the dimensions and factors of success of these projects. The book
explains the reality of small and medium enterprises in the UAE. She indicated that
the book concluded by explaining the critical factors that lead to the success
of small and medium enterprises, a collection of 12 factors, including
government support and business incubators.
The expansionist
project of the Brotherhood
Mohammed Al Salimi, Senior Researcher and Head of
Research and Advisory Sector at TRENDS, Rahaf Al Khazraji, Senior Researcher
and Head of the Scientific Publishing Department at TRENDS Research and Advisory, and Dr. Mohamed Farid Ezzi, Senior Researcher in the
Global Barometer department at TRENDS,
jointly signed the book "The
Brotherhood's Expansionist Project: The
extent of its decline and future prospects."
The book explains that the group was able to come to
power in countries such as Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco, after many decades during which it suffered
many setbacks, rushing to achieve
"empowerment" in preparation for the establishment of an “Islamic caliphate."
The book stated that the Brotherhood has become an
important player in other countries, which were suffering from internal
conflicts and crises, but the speed with which the organization fell from power
in Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco, raises an important question about the Brotherhood's expansionist project and the
limits of its decline and consequences.
