In a TRENDS Discussion Session.. HE Maqsoud Kruse: My next book will be on the future of mental health and the inner universe

TRENDS Research and Advisory organized a discussion session at the Cultural Forum of the Sharjah International Book Fair. The discussion was held on the sidelines of the signing ceremony of one of TRENDS’ publications. The book is entitled "The Future of Mental Health Care in the United Arab Emirates", by His Excellency Maqsoud Kruse, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the National Human Rights Institution (NHRI).

The book explores the future of mental health in the UAE and provides a proposed roadmap for development in the field. It includes seven chapters, dealing with different topics, including: the modern concept of mental health, the challenges facing mental health in the UAE, ways to enhance awareness about mental health, modern psychological treatments, and the role of artificial intelligence in mental health care.

The discussion session was attended by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, and a number of experts, researchers, and visitors to the exhibition. His Excellency Maqsoud Kruse expressed his pleasure at having the opportunity to cooperate with TRENDS Research and Advisory which released this book.

He pointed out that the book highlights the importance of mental health and promote awareness about it in the UAE society. It also proposes solutions to the challenges facing this area of medical care.

His Excellency Maqsoud explained that the book deals with the concept of modern mental health, which focuses on self-adjustment and happiness. It also discusses the challenges facing mental health in the UAE, such as lack of awareness of mental health, difficulty in accessing mental health services, and stigma associated with mental health.

His Excellency Maqsoud also stressed that the book proposes solutions to the challenges facing mental health in the UAE, such as raising awareness about mental health through media campaigns and educational programs. Such solutions include facilitating access to mental health care by expanding the service delivery network, and removing the social stigma associated with mental health.

His Excellency Maqsoud indicated that the book also addresses the role of artificial intelligence in mental health care. He explained that artificial intelligence can play an important role in enhancing access to mental health care and delivering modern psychiatric and psychological treatments.

His Excellency Maqsoud concluded his speech by calling for the need to promote awareness about mental health in the UAE society and support efforts to develop this vital field.
