Research cooperation between TRENDS and the University of Dubai

TRENDS Research and Advisory signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Dubai to enhance research and scientific cooperation between the two parties in fields of common interest.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends Research and Advisory, and Dr. Essa Al Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai.

The MoU affirms the ties between the two parties. It shall expand the knowledge base, and benefit from the accumulated research experiences of both parties. The agreement enhance cooperation and partnership between the two sides in the relevant fields of knowledge and research.

The two parties shall conduct joint research in areas of common interest, especially in the field of social, political, economic, foresight and field studies. The two parties shall exchange experts, researchers and non-resident fellows and benefit from their expertise. The two sides shall organize joint scientific and research events, including conferences, seminars, symposia, workshops and lectures. They shall exchange scientific publications, issue joint publications, and use databases, information and research output available to each Party.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali stressed that this agreement reflects Trends’ keenness to strengthen partnerships with universities, academic institutions and research centers. These agreements shall serve insightful scientific research. Dr. Al-Ali added that this agreement will enhance cooperation between Trends Research and Advisory and the University of Dubai in the field of scientific research. They shaBoth sides shall transfer and exchange experiences and knowledge. They shall deliver high-quality research outputs that meet the needs of the research and academic communities.

Dr. Essa Al Bastaki welcomed the cooperation between the University of Dubai and Trends Research and Advisory. He stressed that the memorandum aims to promote joint scientific research and improve the educational and research process. Dr. Essa indicated that cooperation with Trends Center will help achieve the objectives of the university's strategy in empowering Emirati cadres to be part of the university's staff of scientists and researchers. They shall work on research projects and joint scientific research aimed at finding innovative solutions to serve the community and enhance knowledge.
