The
Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security has designated
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends Research and Advisory, as a member
of the Advisory Board of the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship. The
appointment is a recognition of Dr. Ali’s valued role in developing the
Academy's educational programs and initiatives.
The
appointment letter stated that the decision is a recognition of Dr. Mohammed
Al-Ali's experience and contributions in the field of training and education.
The Authority highly appreciates his continuous cooperation and relentless efforts
to develop the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship.
Dr.
Mohammed Al-Ali expressed his appreciation for the Authority’s gesture of
appointing him as a member of the Advisory Board of the Emirates Academy for
Identity and Citizenship. He expressed his hope that the selection would constitute
a qualitative shift in the ongoing cooperation between Trends Research and
Advisory and the Academy.
Dr. Al Ali stressed the significance of mutual and shared roles between scientific research and education. He praised the efforts of the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship and its adoption of best international practices, use of advanced technological applications and electronic knowledge sources, which enhance the values of creativity and responsibility.

The Advisory
Board of the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship plays the role of
governance for the Academy and ensures the achievement of its mission and
objectives. The Board oversees the overall performance of the Academy, in line
with the national laws and education policies. Moreover, the Advisory Board
drafts the general policies and proposes the degrees granted by the Academy,
including honorary degrees, and other fields of specializations.
