Trends Research & Advisory and Geneva Center for Security Policy (GCSP) Discuss Research Collaboration

Trends Research and Advisory and the Geneva Center for Security Policy (GCSP) discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two sides in a number of forward-looking research fields. The meeting is part of the activities of Trends current European tour, and is held on the sidelines of Trends’ participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The aim is to expand Trends’ global outreach, and enhance its role as a global knowledge bridge that anticipates events and develop visions that shape the future.


The Trends delegation was headed by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends Research and Advisory. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Geneva Center for Security Policy. The two sides discussed research issues of common interest and stressed the importance of cooperation between research institutions. They both intend to develop sound visions and propose ideas that enhance scientific research opportunities and promote security, stability and sustainable development.


Dr. Mohammed Al-Ali expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Geneva Center for Security Policy (GCSP), in the field of research and analysis. He said the Center covers diverse topics, such as global security. He indicated that Trends aims to promote scientific research, and build new partnerships that confirm its global outlook and deliver its research message externally.


H.E Ambassador Thomas Greminger, Director of the Geneva Center for Security Policy praised Trends’ research effort work, and indicated that it has become a regional reference on a number of issues.

The two sides agreed to continue consultations with the aim of identifying areas of possible cooperation, and the potential of signing a cooperation protocol in the future.
