and Advisory is participating, for the third time, in the Cairo International
Book Fair 2024. The 55th edition of the iconic book fair kicks off on January
24 and will continue until the sixth of February 2024. This edition will be
held under the slogan "We create knowledge... We Preserve the Word".
The annual event is organized by the Egyptian General Book Authority, at the
Egypt Exhibition and Convention Center in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
Norway is Guest of Honour at the Cairo International Book
Fair 2024.
Trends is
participating in this edition of the Cairo Book Fair, one of the largest
cultural events in the Middle East, with an innovative and exceptional suite.
The pavilion is located in the third hall, bearing the number "B45". Trends
offers more than 200 diverse scientific research and cultural publications, covering
several topics. The main subjects cover artificial intelligence, economic
development, energy and natural resources, environment and sustainable
development, international trade and investments, international political
economy, Middle East security, political Islam, tolerance and
coexistence", and others.
Enhancing intellectual communication
Dr.
Mohamed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends Research and Advisory, said that the
Center’s participation for the third time in the Cairo International Book Fair shall
strengthen bridges of scientific, intellectual and knowledge communication
between think tanks, research and academic institutions, and regional and
international publishing houses. Furthermore, the active participation supports
intellectual dialogue between academics, researchers and elite thinkers through
a cultural program and scientific events. These Fairs offer a space for cultural
interaction that accommodate different points of view. They also provide an
opportunity for the exchange of scientific, research and knowledge visions.
Dr. Al-Ali
indicated that Trends' participation in the Cairo Book Fair for the third time
enhances the Center's presence in the knowledge and cultural arena at the
regional and global levels. The Fair is a global forum for exchanges between
different civilizations and cultures. It is a suitable platform for the
exchange of scientific ideas and sound knowledge. The Cairo Book Fair reflects
the cultural diversity that characterizes the Arab world, and allows the public
to discover new cultures, knowledge and promotes the exchange of experiences.
Diverse and rich publications

Al Marzouqi, Director of Distribution and Exhibitions Department at Trends,
explained that the Center's pavilion at the 55th session of the Cairo
International Book Fair is located in the third hall and bears the number “B45",
at the Egypt Exhibition and Convention Center – Cairo. She said that the
pavilion shall host scientific and knowledge events, dialogue and panel discussions
that will be organized throughout the Fair duration.
Al
Marzouqi stressed that Trends participates in various regional and
international book fairs with the aim of promoting research and knowledge. In
so doing, the Center provides readers with genuine scientific content that
opens horizons for anticipating the future and actively engage in making it.
She indicated that the pavilion displays a wide list of diverse publications, covering
a range of regional and global issues. The main titles include: Political
Islam, technology and artificial intelligence, tolerance and coexistence,
economic development, environment and sustainable development, and others.

It is noteworthy that
the 55th edition of the Cairo Book Fair has seen the participation of more than
1,500 publishing houses from 50 countries around the world. The Cairo Book Fair
will host more than 1,200 cultural and artistic events. It provides access to
the latest Arab and foreign book releases. It is definitely one of the most
prominent cultural gatherings in the Middle East and North Africa. Cairo Book Fair is held annually and brings a a
large group of publishers, writers and thinkers from all over the world, and
contains tens of thousands of book titles
