Trends Contributes to UMEX and SimTEX 2024 activities through the knowledge window

Trends Research and Advisory participated with different projects in the activities of the "UMEX and SimTEX 2024" conference. The conference is held under the theme of 'Soaring to New Heights: Impact of New Technologies in the Evolving Unmanned Systems Era'. Trends' participation in the conference and exhibition, which concludes on Thursday, reflects the significant role of scientific research and the Center’s keenness to contribute to the discussion of the most important issues and challenges facing the unmanned systems sector in the world. Trends also intends to provide innovative solutions to these challenges, by presenting advanced research projects in this field.


 

Mr. Abdullah Al Hammadi, Director of Project Management at TRENDS, said: "TRENDS' participation in the UMEX and SimTEX conference reflects the Center's commitment to supporting and promoting scientific research and introducing innovative ideas in the unmanned systems sector in the world. The Center is working to deliver effective contributions to its development. He stressed that the proposed research projects come as a complement to other existing projects that consolidate and support this sector.

 

Al Hammadi added that Trends Research and Advisory’s projects are related to a number of important areas, including: the future of unmanned systems in light of new technological developments, the challenges facing the unmanned systems sector and how to address them, and the opportunities for the unmanned systems sector in the Arab region.

Al Hammadi explained that Trends delivers these research projects, to provide an integrated vision on the future of the unmanned systems sector, and to identify the necessary steps to develop it within the region and beyond.

 

The UMEX and SimTEX conference is one of the most prominent international conferences specialized in the unmanned systems sector, bringing together experts, academics and government officials from around the world.
