TRENDS Continues its global Outreach.. Attends Seoul International Book Fair 2023

TRENDS Research and Advisory is participating in the Seoul International Book Fair 2023 for the first time. The exhibition will be held from June 14, 2023 until Jun 18, 2023 at the exhibition halls of the COEX Convention Centre in Seoul, the Republic of Korea. TRENDS is keen to continue its active attendance of Book Fairs   and its global outreach as a bridge of knowledge to new places.

 

TRENDS Stand at this reputable book fair features a collection of research publications covering the scientific, political, security, economic, and military fields, in addition to its encyclopedia series and specialized publications on political Islam movements.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, said that the Center's participation in the Seoul International Book Fair falls in line with its global strategic vision. It reflects TRENDS unwavering drive to expand its outreach to new regions, taking research outputs as a bridge of knowledge that spreads the values of brotherhood and coexistence. Moreover, it provides objective scientific content that helps interested professionals, students and academics to read and anticipate events with solid genuine insights.

 

Dr. Al-Ali added that the Seoul Book Fair is one of the most famous book fairs in Asia and the world. As such, it is an ideal platform to promote the studies, research and visions offered by TRENDS. The Exhibition is a meeting point to learn about other experiences and build research partnerships throughout the Asia and beyond. The Seoul exhibition is regarded as an important platform with a cultural relevance that falls in line with TRENDS’ drive to be present in global cultural and knowledge events as well as the most important book fairs in the world.  It is also an opportunity to meet with specialists and stakeholders in research centers and the book industry in that region.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rawda Al Marzouqi, Director of Marketing and Exhibitions Department at TRENDS, said that the Center shall participate in the Seoul Book Fair with a collection of valuable publications that are characterized by diversity and richness of content. She said that these publications review issues and crises of interest to the international community. The Seoul Book Fair is a prominent international cultural event and a knowledge hub which enhances the spread of TRENDS publications and introduces them to thousands of visitors, writers, researchers and academics from different parts of the world.  Rawda Al Marzouqi said that TRENDS’ Stand will display many publications, especially those translated into English and other languages, including several books from the TRENDS’ Encyclopedia about the Muslim Brotherhood, which reveal the secrets of the group and refute its false views with evidence-based and well documented scientific research and analyses.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ms. El-Yazia Al-Hosani, Director of Media Department at TRENDS, said that the Center’s participation in Seoul International Book Fair will be monitored with live media coverage on Trends' social media and digital platforms. She indicated that participation in international book fairs and other events present an opportunity to showcase TRENDS' knowledge and research products and inform the public about them. Book fairs represent a suitable forum to come in contact with prominent think tanks and publishing houses and a convenient venue to build new research partnerships.

 

Sharjah will be the guest of honour at the Seoul International Book Fair 2023 which is considered to be one of the most famous book fairs in Asia and the world. The Seoul Book Fair represents a link between publishers, distributors and experts in the publishing industry on the Asian continent. It is as an opportunity to learn about aspects of the Korean culture that is characterized by openness and interaction with other different cultures.
