Michael Patchett-Joyce is a barrister with Ely Place Chambers, London. He demonstrates advocacy and advisory skills in conducting commercial litigation, especially in the fields of civil/commercial fraud, VAT, EU law, and professional negligence. He acts in cases requiring detailed legal research and analysis.
Besides being a barrister with over 30 years’ experience, Michael is both an international commercial arbitrator and a CEDR-accredited mediator. He holds a specialist post-graduate diploma in International Dispute Resolution (Arbitration), from Queen Mary, University of London, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
