Dr. Qamar-ul Huda is an Analyst with Gulf States Analytics, a Washington-based non-partisan independent think-tank. He was a co-founder of The Center for Global Policy, a policy research center examining US foreign policy, global security, and geopolitics of the Muslim-majority countries. He was Senior Policy Advisor to the US Department of State Office of the Secretary and a Director at Hedayah: Center of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism, Abu Dhabi. USAID and UN recognized his report A Critique of Countering Violent Extremism Programs in Pakistan as a significant contribution. Dr. Huda is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University.
