Giuseppe is currently attending a Ph.D. program at the Research Institute of Environmental Law of Wuhan University, part of the Belt and Road Initiative. He earned an LL.M. in Asian Legal Studies from the Law School of the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a certificate of attendance of the ASEAN Law Academy (NUS). During his time at NUS, he worked as a postgraduate research assistant in the areas of human rights, investment, and the environment. At the Graduate Institute of Geneva, he completed the Executive Education Program in Advocacy in International Affairs. Likewise, he attended his studies of Executive Education in International Law at the same institution by taking an LL.M. with a specialty in Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources. Furthermore, LUMSA (Libera Università Maria SS. Assunta, Rome, Italy) also granted him a law degree summa cum laude. Subsequently, he obtained a post-grad master’s degree in International Business and Public Policy in the Euro-Mediterranean at CERISDI (Palermo - University of Catania, Italy). He is author of various publications, and the paper entitled “Tackling Climate Change in China: a hybrid approach” published in Chinese Journal of Environmental Law.
